1. Can you tell us about Monitum – how did the company start, and what is your mission?
Monitum Lietuva is a growing technology company that develops innovative IoT products and software as a service (SaaS). In 2023, Monitum AB (Sweden) acquired the product "muuun," which won the Red Dot 2022 and IF Design Awards, and is continuing to expand its ecosystem by developing new products and services. The muuun product is a smart smoke and carbon monoxide detector designed to protect people and their property from fire and carbon monoxide poisoning. Our team in Lithuania develops, manufactures, and oversees the export of these products to Europe.
Our team is international and spans both sides of the Baltic Sea, with offices in Vilnius and Stockholm.
2. What inspires and motivates you to pursue your goals?
We enjoy applying our knowledge to the creation and improvement of technological products and seeing them become tools for our business clients to grow. We are motivated by technical challenges and complex tasks. Even though we are a small team, we are sharp-minded and ambitious, and we take pride when a product created in Lithuania is praised by clients worldwide.
3. How does a favorable work environment impact your work, and how does Workland meet your team’s expectations?
We chose Workland because we were looking for a high-quality private office where we can test our products and work calmly and productively. We like the office's location, the attention to community well-being, and the amenities. 4. How would you best describe your team and internal culture? What methods do you use to maintain smooth and progressive work?
We value professionalism and set high standards for ourselves. We like challenges, sometimes even creating them for ourselves! A small team requires a great deal of trust, versatility, and communication, so we encourage discussion and understand when to help each other and when to give space.
