How did the idea for Freshmango come about, and what problem did you want to solve?
Freshmango started from our experience working alongside venture capital funds and preparing founders before they entered the fundraising process. We repeatedly saw the same pattern: many startups had great ideas, but they weren't investment-ready. They lacked a clear strategy, financial planning, market validation, or simply the right guidance at the right time.
That made us realize the real problem wasn't access to capital, it was the gap between having an idea and becoming a company that investors and customers can trust. Freshmango was created to bridge that gap by helping founders build stronger businesses before they start raising money.
What makes Freshmango different from other startup accelerators?
We don't see ourselves as a traditional accelerator that runs a fixed program and ends after a demo day. We work much more like long-term partners.
Our approach combines experienced mentors, practical execution, AI-powered tools, and a structured framework that supports founders from idea validation through fundraising and growth. Instead of focusing only on pitching investors, we help startups build sustainable companies with the right foundations.
Success isn't measured by how quickly a startup raises funding, it's measured by whether it builds something that can continue growing.
What are the biggest challenges early-stage startups usually face, and how do you help them overcome these challenges?
Early-stage founders often face uncertainty rather than a lack of ambition. They have to make critical decisions about product, market fit, business models, hiring, financial planning, and fundraising—often without enough experience.
Our role is to reduce that uncertainty. We provide a structured roadmap, experienced mentors, practical resources, and regular guidance that help founders prioritize the right actions at each stage. Rather than giving generic advice, we work alongside startups to solve real problems as they arise.
What achievement or milestone in Freshmango's journey are you most proud of so far?
One of the milestones we're most proud of is the impact we've helped create for the founders we work with. Together with our startup community and partner companies, we've supported fundraising efforts that have resulted in more than €38 million in secured capital.
Beyond funding, we're proud that Freshmango has been recognized by the Financial Times as one of the leading technology startup hubs in 2027, reflecting our commitment to building a high-quality ecosystem for ambitious founders.
On a personal level, it's also rewarding to see members of our team recognized through achievements such as inclusion in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list. We see these milestones not as the destination, but as validation that our approach, combining mentorship, execution, and long-term partnership—is creating meaningful value for entrepreneurs.
Who are the people behind Freshmango, and what helps your team work successfully together?
Freshmango brings together people with backgrounds in startups, venture capital, finance, technology, innovation, and business development. Our team combines strategic thinking with practical execution, which allows us to support founders across multiple aspects of building a company.
What makes us work well together is a shared belief that founders deserve honest advice, practical support, and long-term partnerships, not one-size-fits-all programs. We all share the same goal: helping ambitious entrepreneurs build companies that create lasting value.
Why did you choose Workland as your workspace, and how does the environment support your team’s daily work and growth?
For us, Workland is much more than an office. It's a place where entrepreneurs, investors, and innovative companies naturally come together.
Being surrounded by an active business community creates opportunities for spontaneous conversations, collaboration, and new partnerships. The flexibility of the workspace also fits the way modern startup teams operate, allowing us to focus on supporting founders while staying connected to a dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystem.
