Ten years ago, Workland began with a simple idea: to create workplaces where businesses could grow alongside one another. Today, that idea has evolved into an international network of communities across the Baltics, shaped not only by offices and locations but by the people who work within them every day.
To celebrate Workland’s 10th anniversary, we spoke with long-standing members across our network. Their experiences reveal how shared spaces become part of business journeys, professional milestones, and everyday life.
Where growth takes shape
For many companies, Workland has been present during defining moments of growth.
3S Money joined Workland Latvia in 2019 with just two employees. Six years later, the company has grown into a team of 66.

Growth also defined the experience of DAAAK Pharma Int. AS in Workland Estonia. Over eight years, the company expanded from a more local structure into an international operating model, strengthening processes and building resilience along the way.

Flexibility played a crucial role for Strategic Staffing Solutions International (SSSI). As the company scaled, the ability to adapt workspace quickly became essential.
Mārtiņš Vītols, Director of Account and Business Development at SSSI, recalls:
“A big win for us was while we were quickly growing up, we had the chance to quickly shift the offices and place our team members at their desks when it was needed.”
Purpose, people, and the human touch
Some organizations measure success not only through business growth but through impact.
The Baltic-American Freedom Foundation has been part of Workland Latvia since the early years, conducting scholarship interviews with young applicants pursuing international opportunities. Nearly a thousand interviews have taken place within Workland spaces.
Ilze Doškina, Regional Director at Baltic-American Freedom Foundation, describes what stands out most:
“We very highly value the services, the comfort, the attitude, and the human touch that Workland brings to our business, and our participants or potential participants feel that as well.”
For her, Workland represents more than infrastructure.

The moments between meetings
When members talk about their favorite memories, they rarely mention deadlines or presentations. Instead, they remember shared moments.
In Estonia, communications entrepreneur Egle Loor joined Workland shortly after starting her solo business, searching for energy and connection beyond working from home.
“Working only from home is not for me, so I was looking for like-minded people around me — the kind of energy that keeps you moving forward.”
Over time, professional connections turned into friendships.
“I’ve found new cooperation partners among the members and discovered business opportunities along the way. But most importantly, I’ve made good friends here.”
Creativity, consistency, and everyday life
For Data-Driven Pitch Coach Gleb Maltsev, years at Workland have been filled with professional experiments, collaboration, and routine moments that together shaped his journey.
"For the past six years, I've hosted workshops, webinars, and D&D campaigns. Recorded podcasts. Read hundreds of books. Won and lost deals. Consumed liters of coffee. Found friends and foes. All of it at Workland."
One encounter became especially meaningful.
"The highlight was meeting Andy Beger. We kicked off an ongoing movie night tradition, survived a pandemic, read obscure research papers, ranted about irrationality and corporate B.S., and analyzed hundreds of thousands of words of pitches. We became friends through it all."
Reflecting on Workland’s decade, he connects growth with consistency.
"Throughout the 14 years of pitch coaching, I had to experiment and mix things up. Yet, real skill also needs consistency and years of deliberate practice. Workland managed to grow and stay consistent during its decade. That takes discipline."
When a workplace becomes part of everyday life
For Eurocash, members of Workland Lithuania community, the biggest realization was how naturally the workspace became integrated into daily operations.
“Our biggest ‘wow’ moment was realizing how Workland became not just a workplace, but an organic part of our everyday activities.”
Being located close to clients improved responsiveness and collaboration, while the environment itself encouraged cooperation and stronger connections.
Looking ahead, the team shares a simple wish:
“In the years ahead, we wish the Workland community continued growth, an expanding network, and the preservation of the strong sense of community that can be felt here every day. We hope Workland continues bringing together people who value not only work, but real human connection and the creation of new ideas.”
